So, remember when we were telling you about our wonderful brainstorming weekend as we were high on knitting fumes, fueled by junk food, celebrating our freedom from all responsibilities…? sigh…
What was it we were going to say? Oh yeah!
We are ready to reveal to you our logo which was inspired by a photo Robin received of her sheep and llama taken by Judy Kavanagh (Ottawa, Ontario) during shearing many years ago.

As we were throwing around ideas for a name, Robin showed us this image and we agreed with the name immediately. Asfastasthat, Sylvie sent the photo to her sister, Julie Quinn, who is known for her artistic flare. We wanted a simple line drawing. She is such a pro! We loved the first draft she sent to us! After a few tweaks, we had a final version.

Drum roll please…..Ta Da!

Thank you so much for your awesome work, Julie!
Our motto is Je fil happy. “Fil”, in French, means thread or yarn and it has a pronunciation close to “feel”. We feel happy when working with fibre.
It is also inspired by a song from a Franco-Ontarian singer, Véronique Dicaire. Have a listen as you knit and Feel Happy
But why would three fibre-loving friends need a logo?, you may ask yourself. You will have to come back to find out…
